Where can I get a printed copy of The Luquillo Tourist Map?
All our guests will receive a FREE printed copy upon check in. For everyone else, you can get your copy of The Map at:
- Simple Food (El Local).
- Coffee Therapy.
- Sun Vibes, Río Grande.
When is check in?
Check in can be done any moment on or after 3pm. Keys will be inside lockbox on main entrance. Code to open lockbox will be sent as soon as room is ready. Early check ins after noon (12pm) are free but subject to availability and can’t be guaranteed.
WHEN IS CHECK OUT?
Check Out can be done any moment on or before 11am. Late check outs have a fee of $50 until 4pm and are subject to availability on check out date.
HOW dO I GET FROM the AIRPORT TO LUQUILLO?
You can rent a car, take an uber or taxi from the airport.
Do I need to rent a car?
While you can go by without a car because there is enough activities and restaurants for a couple of days (check out our tourist map), we highly suggest to rent a car so you can do close by trips and make the most of your stay.
Do you have power back up?
The Guest House is fully backed up with Solar Panels, Tesla Battery and Gas Generator. You will not lose power during a black out and will be able to operate air conditioning. During massive black outs energy saving and maintenance protocols may take place.
do you have parking?
There is free street parking in our location. Plenty of free spots nearby.
how close is the beach?
We are on the beach. La Pared Beach is just a few steps away (only for experienced surfers). Just a few minutes walk away, beautiful Playa Costa Azul is safe for swimming. La Monserratte blue flag beach is a 5 minute drive away or 40 minute walk along the shoreline.
Any tips on el yunque rainforest?
El Angelito trailhead is our favorite. An easy 15 minute walk with swimming hole at the end. We highly recommend to stop by the visit center because you can’t really love what you can’t understand and the visit center sheds light into a wider perspective of The Rainforest Ecosystem.
can i store my bags before check in or after check out?
Absolutely! Just give us a heads up and we will store your bags.
How good is your wifi?
Our wifi is reliable. We have a local company that transmits signal through antenna and is backed up with solar panels. Higher wifi requests can be accommodated for a fee.
